"Hi PJ, sorry to hear about your challenges. I don't know if you remember me. I'm Phil Albert's sister and I used to babysit you and Mark when you were kids. If you remember having your bb gun when you were around five...I was the one who told your Mom that I could show you how to shoot it and I shot out the neighbors car window and all you kids ran over and told on me!!! It sounds like you have a wonderful free spirit and hold onto that. Enjoy the things you like and keep those friends/family close. I'll be keeping you in my prayers. Ellen"

"Thank you for taking on such a responsibilty to bring awareness to this disease. We lost my dad to this dreadful illness 9 years ago (tomorrow - to be exact). The crazy thing is that the Dr's said it wasn't really the cancer that ended up being the killer, but the actual treatment was what finally ended his life. It has made all of us learn to cherish all of our moments a little more. Best wishes to you. Stay Strong. "

"My mother found out in August of 2010 that she had SCLC ( Small Cell Lung Cancer ) Which is a very deadly and fast moving cancer with no cure . After chemo in the following months her tumors shrunk and then in Jan of 2011 she had a sezuire , found out it had spread to her brain . She started radation right away . Then ended up in the hospital again after radation was done , found out the tumor in her lung had came back . She is on her 2nd round of chemo , and is now in the ICU where we live , her red cell blood count is deadly low and she has had 3 blood transfusions and 2 platlites . I hope that she can kick this cancers but , along with all other types of cancer realated patients . I pray that you will last pain free and live a good time while you still can . I know that good way to raise money is at local car meets and MIR ( Maryland International Raceway ) They hold alot of shows there that you could set up a stand and people will show the support and raise awareness for the cause ... good Luck bud ! I want you to know that I am keeping you close in thought and sending my best wishes for your improved help. You are doing just that. We will continue to fight right along side you in this battle against cancer. Please contact me or your American Cancer Society for more information on how we can help. We are here for YOU 24/7/365. Keep up the fight, PJ and beat this thing! Your courage and inspiration to others will only better the odds for success in finding the cures for not only lung cancer but all cancers as you teach people the importance of awareness, education on early detection and promote becoming an activist in this fight.
